We are currently seeking an Experienced Marine Electrician! You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a variety of customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
  • Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
  • Troubleshoot motor and control systems
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields

We are currently looking for System Integrator/ Programmer with qualifications stated below:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
  • 4+ years of work experience.
  • Previous experience in data acquisition systems and control systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in a programming language such as C++, C# or Python.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of high-reliability processes and related documentation practices
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement and troubleshoot data acquisition and control hardware
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in analog to digital and digital to analog converters, power supply components and design, analog testing & troubleshooting techniques, and signal integrity, layout and grounding principles
  • Experience working with instrumentation, including pressure transducers, thermocouples, RTDs, accelerometers, strain gauges, flow meters, load cells, relays, and solenoid valves
  • Ability to specify instrumentation wiring needed for various interfacing of data systems and sensors
  • Proficient manual electronic skills such as soldering, insulation and wiring, splicing, and component selection
  • Experience working with data acquisition systems (DAQ)
  • Experience working with Human Machine Interface (HMI) varying HMI experience is a plus
  • Proficient in programming languages (C#, VBA, Python, and/or C++)
  • Proficient in Rockwell Automation and Siemens Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, varying PLC experience is a plus
  • Experience with industrial bus protocols such as Modbus, EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP, Profibus and ProfiNet
  • 2+ years of experience with CAD software; experience with an Electrical CAD tool
  • Extensive understanding of instrumentation, interfaces and sensors including DAQ, digital multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital IO, Serial-422, switch technologies and topologies, RTDs, thermocouples, and 4-20mA sensors.
  • Experienced in leading electrical integration and test operations on ships, or vessels
  • Extensive experience with Hardware-in-the-loop test equipment, ground support equipment, and automated test scripts.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform job duties that require standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting upper body, working in cramped positions in small openings and climbing hand over hand
  • Ability to work at elevated heights (200+ feet)
  • Physical effort with climbing up and down stairs regularly throughout the day
  • Physical effort with some handling of light weight supplies or materials (0 to 35lbs)
  • Work performed in an environment requiring exposure to fumes, odors, and noise
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when needed, flexibility required
  • Typically exposed to work in extreme outdoor environments – heat, cold, rain
